Bienvenido Adovcates For A Solution To The Humanitarian Crisis At The Border
Bienvenido’s President Abraham Enriquez released the following statement for the press conference on the humanitarian crisis at the southern border.
“Bienvenido prides itself on being a bilingual organization and a coalition builder. We are thankful to gather today to draw light to this important issue,” said President Enriquez.
During the event we also also heard from:
The Honorable Christopher Landau, former US Ambassador to Mexico; Yali Nunez, BCTC CEO and former Director of Hispanic Media for the RNC, Alfonso Aguilar, President, Latino Partnership for Conservative President; Ken Oliver- Mendez, Senior Director of Engagement & Right on Immigration, Texas Public Policy Foundation; Juan Andres Caro, America First Policy Institute.
Our speakers made great remarks during this event.
“This is, without a doubt, the most serious threat facing our nation at this moment. In March, we saw over 172,000 migrants arrive at the border, a 71% increase from the precious number,” said Alfonso Aguilar.
“We need to find a humane bipartisan solution to this immigration crisis. Democrats made promises to deliver the American people a fixed immigration system, but so far we only have children endangered and a bigger problem in our hands” said Yali Nunez about the current situation at the U.S Southern Border.
Ken Oliver-Mendez, Senior Director of Engagement & Right on Immigration, Texas Public Policy Foundation and Juan Andres Caro, America First Policy Institute were able to give a clear snapshot of what we are dealing with and the pathway forward. The Honorable Christopher Landau, former US Ambassador to Mexico was instrumental in giving us a picture of then and now.
“Today, we want to send a very clear message: we have a major humanitarian crisis at the border and we cannot allow the Biden administration to downplay it and avoid talking about it. Not only do we expect the administration to be responsible and fully recognize what’s going on at the border, but we also demand that it take decisive action to address the crisis,” declared Alfonso Aguilar, President, Latino Partnership for Conservative President.
