Bienvenido was happy to host an Empresarios luncheon to welcome dignitaries from Nuevo León, Mexico.
Our luncheon brought together over 40 business leaders to learn about the growing relationship between Texas and Nuevo León. Special dignitaries included Governor Samuel Garcia, Secretary of Economy Ivan Rivas, and Secretary of Regional and Agricultural Development Marco Gonzalez.
Businesses represented included Coca-Cola, Dallas Cowboys NFL, EarthX, Texas Motor Speedway, TelevisaUnivision, Gruma Corporation, and 44 Farms, among other strong business leaders.
The event focused on Nuevo León’s international Custom and Highway Masterplan and modernization of the shared Texas and Nuevo León border at the Port of Columbia. Monterrey is Mexico’s third largest metropolitan area. It is home to the headquarters of major Mexican companies such as Cemex and Bimbo, Mercedes, BMW, Samsung, Boeing, and General Electric. Monterrey is Mexico’s wealthiest city in terms of per capita income. It is also known as one of Latin America’s best locations for foreign investments.
